The Organizing Authority is the Sports Nautiques de l’Eau d’Heure club
(S.N.E.H.), the Belgian Europe Class association, the Belgian French Federation
of Yachting (F.F.Y.B.) and the Royal Belgian, Sailing Federation (F.R.B.Y.).
The regatta will be governed by the ‘rules’ as defined in The Racing Rules of

The following prescription may require advance preparation:
“G2 Identification on sail- Boats participating in a competition taken back in the
national calendar in Belgium have to respect the prescripts of the rule G1”
The rules of the Europe Class
The rules for the navigation on the Plate Taille Lake will apply.
If there is conflict between languages the French text will take precedence.
Advertising will be restricted to Category C according to the ISAF Advertising
Code –Regulation 20 with a special restriction: the Belgian Law of 10/12/1997
prohibits any advertising for tobacco products.
3) ELIGIBILTY AND ENTRY
3.1 The regatta is open to all Europe class boats.
3.2 Eligible boats may enter by completing the form on the website
The entry fee is fixed at 40€ including entry drink and the diner Saturday
august 21th .
For non competitors, the diner price will be 18€
3.3 Payment will be accepted under the following conditions: Only in ready
money, no cheque and only in Euro, at the registration office.
3.4 Every competitor shall be member of his class association and must draw a
licence as required by his federation.
At the moment of their registration, the competitors shall present:
– a valid licence
– a valid letter of measurement
– a valid certificate of advertising issued by their National Authority.
3.5 Each competitor shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance
with a minimum cover of EUR 2 000 000.00 per event or the equivalent.
4.1 Practice race: free from Friday the august the 20th
Friday 20th: from 16h00 to 20h00 .
Saturday 21st: from 08h00 to 09h .
Saturday 23rd: 19h00 braised pork (non mandatory 18€.
4.3 Racing days:
Saturday 21st : 1st warning signal: 13h00 – races to follow.
Sunday 22nd: 1st warning signal: 10h00 – races to follow, no warning signal after

5) SAILING INSTRUCTIONS

6) THE COURSES
The courses to be sailed will be: Trapeze.
7.1 Three (3) races are required to be completed to validate the “Aloïs Roland
Trophy “. The maximum number of races is 8.
7.2 (a) When fewer than 6 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will
be the total of her race score.
(b) When from 6 to 8 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be
the total of her race score excluding her worst score.
8) SUPPORT BOATS
Support boats shall ask the authorisation to go on the water by fulfilling a form.
On the request of the Race Committee, they shall help for safety on the water.
They will be marked with their national flag.
Boats and their trailer will kept their assigned place in the boat park.
10). HAUL-OUT RESTRICTIONS
Boats shall not be hauled out during the regatta except with and according to
the terms of the Race Committee.
11). RADIO COMMUNICATION
A boat shall neither make radio transmissions while racing nor receive radio
communications not available to all boats. This restriction also applies to mobile

13) DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4,
Decision to Race.
The Organizing Authority will not accept any liability for material damage or
personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or
after the regatta.
Each participating boat shall be insured with a valid third-party liability
insurance with a minimum cover of EUR 2 000 000 per event or the equivalent.

Camping is possible on site, free of charge.
A VIP village is organised in front of sailing club with commodities, douche, WC,
electricity for camping cars.
